I am now being inducted to the honor society of nursing: Sigma Theta Tau International. The term induction is having rite of passage as a synonym in the thesaurus. That makes me think about freemasonry and its rites. I just hope I won't have to lie in a coffin or play with skulls in search of the Holy Grail. I guess that the worst case scenario is having to rub the lamp... (Florence Nightingale was often referred to as the Lady with the Lamp.) Pictures from inductions elsewhere seem less problematic...
