"It's got to be Austria" - the Austrian tourist agency launched their new slogan in February [US version][Swiss version].
The Swedish news paper DN reports that the slogan has become an "issue" the last weeks after the second case of a woman being locked up in a basement and being abused for years. I guess that the thought of women being locked up - "it's got to be Austria" was less pleasant...
Austria is a fascinating country politically and looking at their sentiments; still not making up with the "Anschluss" to the Nazi Germany [flickr][wiki], UN General Secretary Waldheim [wiki], right-wing Jörg Haider [BBC][wiki] - but they have magnificent imperial palaces from the good old days.
